THE
ALLIE-DEVITO WEDDING
Brittani Allie wed Brandon Devito poolside,
perched at waters edge, at Pelican Bay at Lucaya July 11,
2009.
The Leland, North Carolina couple brought 29 guests with them for
the three-day Island Elegant wedding weekend at Pelican Bay.
Brittany, a
registered nurse, and Brandon, a dentist, and guests gathered at Sabor
Restaurant and Bar Friday evening before the wedding for a three-course
Rehearsal dinner ... On Saturday, wedding day, Brittani and her bridal party
were pampered with manicures and pedicures, and had their hair styled at Senses
Spa.
Brittany s favourite flower is hydrangea. She chose these in
blue and cream for bouquets and table centerpieces, created by Katy Taylor.
Cream linens complemented the beautiful hydrangea floral theme.
The
couple chose a four-hour Premium Open Bar and Caribbean buffet dinner for their
reception dinner. The buffet comprised specialties in the likes of Bahamian
Conch Chowder, Spicy Crabmeat Salad, Roast Corn Salad, Coconut Crusted Chicken
with a jerk butter sauce and Cajun dusted Grouper with Tomato and Okra Ragout.
Dee jay Earl Neely kept the bride and guests dancing throughout the
evening.
A three-tier chocolate wedding cake with chocolate mousse
filling and light blue and ivory frosting by pastry chef Sally Gaskins was
served as dessert.
