THE
GARCIA-SWAUN WEDDING
Silvia Garcia & Arthur Swaun
For
their Thanksgiving wedding, Silvia and Arthur invited 54 family and friends
from throughout the US to gather in the warmth and sun of the Bahamas and join
them as they exchanged vows under beautiful blue skies
crystal clear
aquamarine ocean water in the background. "We love the Bahamas and always
wanted to get married there," Silvia shares. "It's a special place to us and we
wanted to gather our loved ones and have a once in a lifetime vacation. The
moment we spoke to Marva we knew it was meant to be."
Standing out in
Silvia's mind was the gathering of family and friends in a beautiful resort and
Marva as a wedding planner, which she says tops the list. Another favourite
memory I had to pick one it would be standing on that private beach with Artie
looking at all of the smiling loving faces who had traveled so far to be with
us."
Wedding guests of the Miami, Florida couple thought the Garcia -
Swaun wedding was "the most beautiful they had ever been to." Everyone was in
love with the hotel and service. Guests enjoyed a Rehearsal Dinner at The Pub
at Port Lucaya Marketplace, Taino Beach, the Casino, Dolphin Experience,
fishing, shopping at the Marketplace and Sabor Restaurant and Bar, poolside in
the garden at Pelican Bay.
Silvia adds: "We feel that God placed Marva
in our lives to make the most important day of our lives magical for us." The
resort was breathtaking and our guests felt pampered. The weather and
atmosphere of Lucaya is something we are still dreaming about.
Silvia
extended thanks and gratitude to Marva for her "amazing taste and
expertise."
After a wonderful meal at Neptune's on the Bay, everyone
indulged in a decadent four-tier chocolate wedding cake for dessert. Dancing
followed under the stars. Capturing photo journalistic images of the wedding
was photographer Michel Berda of King Street Photo Weddings.
Silvia and
Arthur's special honeymoon memory are the peace and serenity of Lubbers Quarter
watching the stars at night on their pier and fishing on their boat
through the Abacos. |
